From Curtis Duncan: This week we are developing E-notes for communication from teachers to the parents in their classes. Parents will need to subscribe to the teacher and schools lists to get messages. This subscription service is at the bottom of our webpage. E-notes will allow for personal messages from teachers to the parents of their students.Parents will be able to find their teacher on our webpage and send personal emails to the teacher. Teachers are also putting information on their webpages for student enrichment for those that do have Internet available. Packets will be available for students that do not have Internet available. Having said that, the enrichment material that is available on our website is device agnostic for the most part and smartphones will be able to access and use much of that material. The webpage I'm referring to is www.rattan.k12.ok.us and the E-notes management is towards the bottom of the page. For interested parents please subscribe to E-notes. It should be functional in a couple of days. You will have to subscribe to individual teachers on your child’s schedule and not just homerooms.
Good morning everyone! I hope this message finds you healthy and happy! The elementary teachers are busy preparing for the end of year learning for the students. Office staff will be available from 9:00-300 today and tomorrow to answer calls and check messages. We appreciate your patience and support as we endeavor to tackle this monumental task quickly and effectively! We hope to roll out further plans for distribution of our Distance Learning digital and paper/pencil packets as well as a means for communication between parents/students and teachers as soon as our plan is approved by OSDE.
